The Heroism of the Magawa, the Giant Pouched Rat

Somebody said our main job in life is to wonder. I want to do more wondering. Adults are the problem. I put the blame squarely at their feet. But, happily, I have not entirely lost the capacity. Just look around. This morning BBC reported that a rat had located more than 100 land mines. This was a Giant African Pouched Rat, bred in Tanzania and served in Cambodia. It was awarded a medal for heroism. I mean, did you see that coming?
